Here we go again

Jessica bought a new car on Saturday. It's a 2004 Dodge neon. A beautiful navy blue color. Very nice. She also paid cash for it! She has been saving very diligently to make such a purchase, and she finally did it. It's not "the car" of her dreams but it is a nice start until she gets enough money saved to buy that dream car.
Wednesday we went to the library, and then onto the Burger King. That particular Burger King has a nice play area for children so we met some friends there with children and they played while we ladies talked. It was a very refreshing time of fellowship. When we came home Abby said her throat hurt, but she thought it was because she was thirsty. Well she got something to drink and it didn't go away. By suppertime she was alittle tired looking and her cheeks were pink. By by bedtime she had an earache. So the next day I worked on that ear for a while trying to get it so I could see into it. I suctioned, and put peroxide in it and also used two ear candles on it. We got a good lot of the wax out but I still couldn't see inside. So off to the immediate care to have a Dr. look at it. They irrigated it and got out one lonely little "stone" of wax, and looked inside and sure enough it was infected. We have been there so much lately that they call me by my first name! They also ask me what all the rest of the family are up and such things LOL!
So of course we had a prescription to fill and then home to (hopefully) get better.
Today we all went to the bank and then went and bought all of our plants for our garden. We are doing a raised bed this year. Kind of a square foot type raised bed. The little ones had lots of fun picking out all the plants for this years garden, and so did I.
Tonight is our pizza/video night. We always look forward to Fridays. Tomorrow I am hoping to go to Joanns to shop their sale. I need a few notions for some projects I'm working on right now.
I hope you all have a great Memorial day!!!

When the cats away the mice will play!

Well hello again! We have been a bit busy this week. On Monday we said goodbye to Steve (aka. daddy) he and his dad were on their way to Indiana. His dad had business there. I talk to him today and he said they plan to be back sometime Thursday. Well of course as soon as he left we went to go shopping and the brakes were out on our van! ACH!! We went ahead to Walmart but Jess wouldn't drive she said they felt to scary! and they did! Tuesday was an uneventful day of school and playing outside in the 81 degree weather. It was very nice! Today we were suppose to go the Chemung to our homeschool activity. It was suppose to be a presentation by the wtvo channel 17 weatherman Paul Youngblood! Now any of you who know me very well know how excited I was to go to this even though it was at 9am. Well you guessed it I didn't get to go. Jess needed the car so Emily took her to work, and came back with the car. She switched the car seats, but it was too late for us to make it. I figured by the time I would get there he would be gone. So I just skipped it. Sadly. I did take the little children to Burger King for lunch and some playtime in their playland. Then on to the library where they made Mother's day presents so us moms had to leave the room. They had lots of fun doing this and then coming home and hiding the present for Sunday. LOL! After the library we went into the Dairyhaus. Again anybody who knows me knows just how much I love dairyhaus ice cream. Unfortuantely Lily got a chocolate flurry and about took a bath in it. I was trying to be patient with her but I failed. We then came home and are now relaxing in front of the tv watching Clifford the big red dog on PBS.

I plan on having leftovers for supper tonight so I can goof off while the children watch clifford.

I am enclosing a few pics of the girls. Em got a new camera, and has been playing with it a great deal. I think Lily our resident ham is getting a bit tired of being the subject of em's creativity. However Savannah seems to be a "ham" in the making thanks to Emily! LOL!

You decide which picture is nicest.
