Menu Monday!

Here is the menu for our house for the next 10 days. I plan seven meals each time I grocery shop and then ssssttttrrrretch it!

Monday's Menu:

Sloppy Joes and veggies of some form.

Dough boys and fruit Kabobs. This is children's night

Veg. soup, rolls, salad

Leftovers -Wed.

Hot dogs, cottage cheese, tomato salad

Tacos

Pizza Friday

Every night we have a dish of ice cream for dessert. Unless otherwise noted.

I normally just look at the menu and then decide what to have in the morning, and take it from there. I start a meal around 4 Pm depending on the prep time. Wednesdays are always leftovers and Friday is always pizza (ordered out) I need a night off.

Tune in on Friday I will try to have some frugal recipes to help in my menu stretching. See you on Frugal Friday!

Chuck E Cheese

Thursday we all piled in the van around lunchtime and headed to chuck E Cheese to celebrate Savannah's birthday. We were suppose to go for Lily's but everyone came down with the stomach flu:-( We met Jaimie and Travis there and you should have seen Travis' face when I gave him some tokens LOL!! The children had so much fun playing games, riding rides and being on the big screen dancing with Chuck E! We were there from 11:30-3! We didn't even realize how long we had been there. Afterwards we went to Farm and Fleet. Steve had to get oil for our car. The little girls all found blouses on sale. I even found something, but it will be much more becoming on me after the new baby is born LOL! Enjoy the pictures.

A post!

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is doing alright! On February 26th Jess, left for Ohio, to spend the next 3 wks at Bible school. She is due back on the 21st. So far she has been doing well (of course). Emily is leaving on Mar. 19 to go to Mexico. She is planning to tour a children's home and visit a family with a home business These are opportunities for work for her. She is also going to spend five of the days at Bible school. She is due to arrive back home on the 30th.

Steve is still out of work. We are hoping that the weather will shape up enough for him to get a call to come to work. He has talked about going "over the road" for a brief time. But nothing has been definately etched in stone:-)

The little ones are doing very well learning to read, write, and learning math facts. Today they had their first day at Enrichment. Which is a class for homeschooled children done by our homeschool group. They go twice a month. Which is nice as it's a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it.

As for myself, well we have a new member to our family! Last weekend Steve went shopping, and came home with a DISHWASHER!! So finally I can enjoy life a little bit more because Im not constantly doing dishes. Yes.....I've used the paper plates but with this size family that is just not economical. We have some news as well. I have to confess I have known for a while and those of you who are on facebook probably already know this, but we are expecting baby #8 for Sept. I am a little nervous, as we are not sure where in the world we will put another little, we are having a time trying to figure out where to put Savannah:-) Im sure it will all work out. I love children and babies, so the fact that there is another one coming is really no big deal. When you have this many what's one more LOL!!! We have looked at a few houses this past couple weeks, but nothing worth going beyond the looking stage. We will continue our search though.

Well I need to get back to my ever expanding family!

Take care everyone!

Love always, Anna
