Good Monday morning everyone! Here as I sit with my wiggly girl in my lap I give thanks to God for the many friends He has blessed me with. Last Friday afternoon, I got a call from a friend from our church (they have a bulk food store) and she needed to get rid of a case of cherries before they were no good. So of course we accepted. I was prepared to pay her for them and she told me they were free! Yup you heard right "free"!! who doesn't like to hear that?? LOL! So our family has been enjoying a life full of cherries these past few days!
On a little sadder note, last Monday was the first anniversary of the death of my mother. It went fine but I found the anticipation of that day was worse than the actual day itself. My heart still aches for her presence sometimes.
Our summer is in full swing! We are enjoying preparing for the 4H fair this coming week. The girls cannot wait! It is there first year:-)
Mercy is doing extremely well. She has had much improvement in the last six months. She continues to improve too. That is so important with children with CP because sometimes they get to a point and then stop improving or progressing.
I am working on some crochetting projects right now. I am making scarves for Martinmas in November, and flannel nightgowns for Christmas. I think I have started them early enough so I should be able to have them done on time. I hope to post some pictures of the finished projects.
Until another time.
