This week we stayed home most of the week. On Monday I finished up canning my pears. I had 7 more quarts only because I got tired of peeling! So the remainder of the pears were put into the fridge for fresh eating. On Wednesday we went to the library to check out books and visit with friends. After our library trip we went into Roscoe to the McDonald's playland to have lunch and for the children to run off some of their energy. We then arrived home and watched our movie that we got from the library. This week instead of a corny veggie tales we got the movie the Hobbit. It was great! All the children (including Emily) enjoyed it. On Thursday we had the plumber come. Our floor drain in our basement has been backing up. YUCK!! He seems to have got the problem solved (hopefully!).
Today I am catching up on laundry, and getting ready for tomorrow. we had a couple rainy days and the children spent the day playing indoors with the indoor sand, which is just a bag of cornmeal and some measuring cups and wooden spoons and cups and good stuff like that!
